Tales from a Distant Body (2025–2026) unfolds as a densely populated pictorial environment in which portraiture, still life and urban landscape intersect. Rather than organising the composition around a single narrative, Armin Boehm constructs a network of simultaneous encounters, where figures, objects and architecture coexist within an unstable spatial framework. The painting reflects his interest in the capacity of painting to hold multiple emotional and temporal realities within one image.
