In Gates of Dawn (2026), Silvia Giordani constructs a compressed passage between monumental, rounded formations that open toward a distant source of light. The composition unfolds as a threshold, where dense, mineral surfaces frame an interior horizon. Through layered oil and acrylic, the work situates landscape as a transitional space between enclosure and emergence.
