In sl 1 (2026), Tycjan Knut destabilises the rectangular field through a single suspended form. The pale blue surface appears to bend under its own weight, while a warm painted shadow separates figure from ground. What initially reads as physical curvature remains an optical construction, continuing Knut’s investigation into perception, tension and the unstable boundary between surface and depth.
