Interstitium II (2026) continues Tycjan Knut’s investigation into the threshold between painted illusion and physical reality. A subtle chromatic transition from warm ochre to cool grey is interrupted by a precisely cut opening, allowing the architecture behind the canvas to become part of the composition. The work expands painting through structure while remaining firmly rooted in its material language.
