Tom Van Puyvelde will be a featured artist at the SLOW(36h) festival, an event celebrating the art of slowness. Throughout this unique gathering, he will engage in the meticulous construction of a triptych, showcased on the main stage. This deliberate and reflective process will culminate as Van Puyvelde gracefully diminishes his completed work in sync with the world premiere of ‘Spectral Shifts’ by the renowned cellist Arne Deforce on the evening of March 2. The artistic synergy between Van Puyvelde and Deforce began in the summer of 2022 in the South of France, where a shared dedication to their crafts sparked a profound collaborative relationship. This meeting of minds and methods promises to deliver an unparalleled experience of conceptual depth and mutual inspiration.
