Over the past two years, it has been a privilege to work with a diverse group of artists from across the globe. What began as an initial proposition has developed into a structured program shaped by experience and continuous refinement. The period from 2025 to the present marks the first full operational year of the gallery.
Building and operating the gallery independently has been a demanding process, offering valuable insight into every layer of its activity, from curatorial direction to execution and communication. This experience has contributed to a more grounded and comprehensive understanding of the gallery’s role and responsibilities.
Alongside this development, it has become clear that building a gallery is not a self-evident trajectory. It is a process marked by fluctuation, moments of recognition and support, but equally instances of resistance or misalignment. Learning to navigate this dynamic is essential. It requires discernment, both in identifying constructive relationships and in maintaining distance from those that do not contribute to the long-term integrity of what is being built. As Warren Buffett aptly noted: “Surround yourself with people who push you to do better.” This principle extends beyond encouragement; it is fundamental to sustaining direction and focus.
There is also a longer temporal dimension at play. The value of what is created, whether artistic, relational, or economic, does not emerge instantly, but accumulates over time. The same applies to motivation and discipline. This parallel form of growth requires consistency and clarity, particularly in a field that operates across multiple layers of engagement.
During this time, the gallery has engaged with a wide range of artistic practices. This openness has been essential in establishing a strong foundation, allowing for meaningful dialogue and a broader understanding of how different works resonate within the space and its context.
As the program evolves, the focus has become more precise. The central objective remains to build long-term collaborations with artists. This approach is guided by shared values; honesty, stability, and commitment, which form the basis for sustained and productive relationships.
The nature of the gallery itself further reinforces this complexity. It operates within a hybrid framework, situated between cultural, emotional, and economic realities. Working with living artists requires sensitivity to process and development, while engagement with the secondary market introduces a different dimension, one tied to legacy, historical positioning, and responsibility. In both cases, it is essential to approach artworks not solely through their financial dimension, but through the broader context in which they exist and are presented.
The gallery continues to grow in a considered and measured way. Growth is understood not only as expansion, but as the strengthening of its curatorial voice, the consistency of its program, and the depth of its collaborations. The vision established at the outset remains unchanged, now supported by a clearer framework for its development.
The gallery’s second participation at Art Rotterdam in 2026 marks an important step forward, reinforcing its position and contributing to a broader international trajectory.
Looking ahead, 2026 will represent a dynamic phase, with projects that further articulate the gallery’s direction. Additional initiatives are already in preparation, with significant announcements to follow in 2027.
