Book Launch
Willehad Eilers presents Sex Master: The Horse Diaries I–X (2018–2026), a publication bringing together an extended body of drawings, texts, and painterly fragments developed across nearly a decade. The publication traces recurring themes within Eilers’ practice, where humour, desire, exhaustion, and performative identity continuously intersect.
Produced in collaboration with Editions Lord Byron, the publication is presented in an A5 format and consists of 520 pages. Each cover is realised through a hand-pulled silkscreen process, reinforcing the material character of the edition. The publication is released in an edition of 300 copies.
Rather than functioning as documentation alone, the publication extends the logic of Eilers’ painterly universe into printed form. Images, diaristic fragments, and recurring motifs unfold as part of a continuous visual sequence shaped between 2018 and 2026.
The official launch of the publication will take place on 25 June 2026 at Palais de Tokyo between 17:00 and 19:00.
