On the occasion of the Zoute Grand Prix in Knokke and ahead of the upcoming sale L’éloge de l’excellence, Buysse Gallery welcomes Artcurial Motorcars from Thursday 8 to Sunday 11 October 2026.
During these four days, collectors are invited to discover the collection and meet the Artcurial Motorcars team within the gallery.
A dialogue between fields of collecting
Knokke has long developed around a particular culture of collecting. Its concentration of galleries exists alongside an equally established interest in design, architecture and collectible automobiles, bringing different forms of connoisseurship into close proximity.
Each year, the Zoute Grand Prix extends this dynamic through a programme centred on historic automobiles, contemporary collector cars and automotive culture. Within this context, the location of Buysse Gallery creates a natural point of exchange between audiences who may collect within different fields, but who share an attention to provenance, materiality, craftsmanship, history and rarity.
For Buysse Gallery, opening its doors to Artcurial Motorcars is an opportunity to broaden this dialogue. Rather than separating art from other collecting disciplines, the collaboration considers how different objects can generate comparable forms of attention and knowledge. During the Zoute Grand Prix, the gallery becomes a meeting point between collectors of art and automobiles, allowing these respective perspectives to encounter one another within the existing exhibition space.
